| On February 5, 2005 the Western Albemarle Rescue Squad held its annual banquet and awards ceremony. This event welcomed many members of the community as well as WARS members to celebrate the many successes of the year 2004. After a lovely dinner, the hard work that was done by all 2004 officers was recognized and the new Administration and Operations Officers for 2005 were presented . Pauline Corbin presented a very generous donation to the rescue squad on behalf of the WARS Auxiliary. Award presentations were made to several members, in recognition of their hard work and dedication during 2004. The recipients of these awards are listed below, and pictures of the banquet can be found in the pages that follow. |
