WARS Extrication Exercise
November 15, 2003

Periodically, WARS holds training exercises for extricators from our rescue squad and from Crozet Volunteer Fire Department, as well as members who are learning to be trained in vehicle extrication.  The skills that are learned and practiced during these exercises allow our members to safely and quickly remove any victim of a vehicle accident from their vehicle, no matter what damage the vehicle has sustained.   These exercises emphasize proper stabilization of the vehicle and the numerous means of gaining access to patients inside, using the diverse equipment that is in our squad truck, Squad 505.  This exercise was lead by senior extricator Roger Baber-Baldino.
