Mission Statement

The purpose of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Ivy is to create an environment,
through our acceptance of God's love in Christ, wherein we can become a faithful community,
committed to sharing that same love by seeking and serving Christ in all persons.

The Church is located west of Charlottesville, VA at 4708 Dick Woods Road
(also known as Rt. 637), in the Ivy area.

The church is named for St. John the Baptist, who "came before" Christ.
St. John's was the first church in what became the Archdeaconry of the Blue Ridge.
